- 8-oz. cotton/polyester fabric with two-way stretch; equally as durable as heavy-weight duck cotton, but over a pound less in weight
- Suede reinforcement so open blades won’t cut through your side utility pocket.
- Water-repellent finish for 3-season protection
- 100% machine washable
- 6 deep pockets for tools, shears, zip ties, and holders for Sharpies/carpenter pencils.
- Hidden double knee extends the life of your Groundbreakers while keeping the seamless appearance of everyday pants.
More Room= More Doing
Breaking free of a constrictive fit, Groundbreakers provide more room for the quads and hips than typical work pants, and taper in below the knees to provide a tailored-looking silhouette. The leg hems fit around your work boots or can be tucked into muck boots.

So comfortable and just high quality. Best purchase this year.
Thanks for making these. I finally feel as though there’s a designer that understands that women like physical work too and don’t need another article that can’t measure up to the task.
I really like the pants in the gloves was wondering when the shorts were going to come out and someone needs to invent a bleach proof material thanks
I was impressed by the handwritten note on the invoice asking for my feedback and to please let Stacey know of any issues I may have with the pants. I tried these on immediately and loved the fit/cut! I wore them to work at my studio that night and was instantly in love with them! As a long-time wearer of men's cut work pants I was ecstatic! No wide legs at the ankles; no gapping in the back due to my belt and pulling the pants down; no weird tightness or pulling at the thighs when kneeling down or sitting. Love the pockets on the legs and the depth of the pockets at the hips. Will definitely be buying more of these pants and will tell all my female friends about these amazing pants!
I do have two items/suggestions on my wish list for future styles:
1.) make the pocket opening at the top slightly wider or make the opening more vertical. It wasn't as easy as I hoped to put my hands in my pocket especially while working or holding something else at the same time. Plus, when talking to people, I am a person who likes to put their hands in their pockets (which is why I love the more vertical side opening style on pants).
2.) Would love to see a style of these pants with a slightly heavier fabric for use in colder temps. While I do love the light weight of this fabric and look forward to wearing them in the warm/hot months. I am a blacksmith doing metal work... so when the weather outside is hot, the temps inside the shop are blazing due to the forge; this light weight material will be great to stay cool in the heat.... in the winter, shop is much colder so I like to wear heavier fabric pants, but not so heavy it impedes movement.
Do you like trousers that fit but aren't tight? Tired of pulling up your pair of shapeless, white painters pants from the Home Depot paint aisle because they are starting to droop over your lady butt? These are the pants for you!
Durable, comfortable, and flattering. Not to mention, the personal attention from Stacey on a customer service level was out of this world. I do a physically demanding job on set that requires me to get my hands, and my pants, dirty, and these pants are a huge relief. i'm often the only woman who works in my area, and it's nice not to feel like an afterthought. crazy how much having the right pants can do that, rather than trying to make do in ill fitting pants that aren't meant for me.
I fully endorse this product and this stellar company.
Not to mention pockets. And how!
